Deutsche Übersetzung des Originaltextes: "Margaretchen" Puppe I mit breiten Hüften, 43 cm, ca. 1915-20 Preis:  1.100,00 Euro    Beschreibung der Puppe: Sie sehen hier eine Käthe Kruse Puppe I aus den mittleren bis späten 1910er Jahren. Sie gehörte ursprünglich einem kleinen Mädchen aus einer wohlhabenden Familie in New York City. Die Puppe ist damals in dem berühmten New Yorker Puppengeschäft FAO Schwarz gekauft worden, wohl irgendwann zwischen 1915 und 1920. Die Puppe hat noch immer ihr original FAO Schwarz Stoff-Etikett auf dem Rücken aufgenäht (siehe Foto). Laut der Schwester der damaligen Puppenbesitzerin hatte diese zwar viele Puppen, doch diese war ihr absoluter Favorit. Die Puppe wurde - wie man sehen kann - sehr geliebt, doch wurde ihr niemals übel mitgespielt. Die Puppe ist insgesamt in einem durchaus guten Zustand. Wie zu sehen ist, sind Bemalung und Farbe im Gesicht etwas verblichen, doch noch immer einigermaßen frisch. In einer Ecke zwischen Nase und Auge fehlt ein sehr kleines Stück Farbe und es gibt einige dunklere Zeichen und Flecken (siehe Stirn und beide Wangen). Ich habe nicht versucht, sie abzuwischen, so dass ich nicht sagen kann, ob sie sich entfernen lassen oder nicht. Die Stirn der Puppe zeigt gewisse Spielspuren und es gibt außerdem kleinere Spielspuren oben und hinten am Kopf. Der Stoff ist in einem exzellenten Zustand überall am Puppenkörper einschließlich Hals, Händen und Füßen und zeigt keine Anzeichen von Gebrauchsspuren. Unter dem einen Fuß befindet sich noch immer der Käthe Kruse Schriftzug zusammen mit ein paar handgeschriebenen Ziffern, die entweder "H 6 23" oder "11 6 23" bedeuten könnten. Ich bin nicht sicher, ob dies möglicherweise das Herstellungsdatum (1923?) sein könnte. Der andere Fuß zeigt einen verblichenen Stempel, der "Germany" bedeuten könnte, aber ich bin mir da nicht ganz sicher. Die Puppe misst 43 cm und hat breite Hüften. Das Material ist in einem sehr stabilen Zustand. Wie man auf den Fotos sehen kann, gibt es vom Spielen einige Verschmutzungen, aber ich kann keinerlei kritische Stellen entdecken. Die Puppe ist niemals restauriert worden. Sie trägt handgemachte Käthe-Kruse-Kleidung aus der heutigen Zeit, die nach dem damaligen Modell "Margaretchen" gefertigt ist. Use the converter at oanda.com! Description of the doll: You are viewing a Kathe Kruse Doll I from the mid to late 1910's. She originally belonged to a young girl from a well to do New York City family. The doll was originally purchased at the famous FAO Schwarz toy store in New York City sometime around 1915-1920. The doll still retains it's original FAO Schwarz cloth tag which is sewn onto her back (see picture). According to the original owner's sister, the girl had many dolls, but this one was her absolute favorite. As you can see she has been well loved but not abused! The doll is in a good condition overall. As you can see, the facial paint and coloring is a bit faded but still fairly fresh and colorful. There is a very small bit of paint missing in between the corner of the nose and one eye and there are a couple of darker marks (see forehead and both cheeks). I did not attempt to try to remove them so I am not sure if they can be removed or not. The doll's forehead has some paint wear and there is minor wear to the top and back of the head. The stitching on the doll is in excellent condition on every part of the doll's body, including the neck, hands and feet, and shows no signs of wear. One foot still retains it's Kathe Kruse stamp along with hand written numbers which read either "H 6 23" or "11 6 23". I am not sure if this could possibly be the manufacture date. If it is, then the doll may have been created in 1923? The other foot has a faded stamp which I believe says "Germany" but I am not fully positive. The doll is 43 cm in height and has wide hips. The fabric on the doll is in excellent strong condition. As you can see from the pictures, the doll does have some soiling from play, but I do not see any staining. The doll has not had any restoration work done. She wears a handmade replica Kathe Kruse "Margaretchen" outfit.
